The Belle Epoque fleet, a heritage of inestimable value
CGN maintains and navigates the world’s most prestigious Belle Epoque fleet. Its mission is to preserve this unique heritage. As such, it undertakes to renovate and maintain these vessels as close as possible to their original appearance.
Unfortunately, this invaluable treasure is at risk of disappearing owing to a lack of financial means to fight against wear over time.
These eight boats were built between 1904 and 1927, and six of them are already over a century old. Renovating each of them costs between 10 and 15 million Swiss francs.
The world’s largest and most prestigious fleet of Belle Epoque paddle-wheel boats needs your support! Would you like to play a part in saving it? You can send your donations to CGN, postal account CCP 10-3198-2, with the reference: “Donation for the conservation of heritage”.
