| The CGN shipyard is located in Lausanne-Bellerive, next to Ouchy's pier. This dockyard is ideally situated and covers 30'000 square meters. It is the strategic heart of the Company, where ongoing maintenance, careening and renovation of the fleet are provided. |
The shipyard is divided into several workshops:
- Diesel mechanics
- Steamer mechanics
- Painting
- Carpentry
- Locksmiths
- On-board electricity
- Tapestry
Therefore, repairs and maintenance can be carried out using CGN's own advanced tech tools and its own staff specialized in naval repairs. For very specific works, we occasionally hire other specialized companies.
We can create or reproduce any kind of engineering plan. The dry dock of 78 x 16 meters, enables to perform all welding and painting activities in a dry environment, under perfect temperature and hygrometry conditions.
All necessary fluids, (water, compressed air, electricity), are provided. Careening work can also be carried out on the floating dock, which has a lift capacity of 720 tons.
