Raclette from the Dents du Midi Region is setting sail: come aboard for a gourmet cruise in the spirit of the Raclette World Championships!
To mark the upcoming Raclette World Championships, which will take place in 2027, the Dents du Midi region and CGN invite you to enjoy a unique gourmet experience on Lake Geneva. On Saturday 19 September 2026, step aboard the « LAUSANNE » for an exceptional cruise dedicated to raclette.
On board, raclette takes centre stage with a selection of raclette cheeses, true ambassadors of the Dents du Midi Region’s expertise and terroir. A unique opportunity to discover the flavours of our region whilst enjoying exceptional panoramic views of the lake and the mountains.
The following prices include:
- First-class travel aboard the « LAUSANNE »
- Three raclette meals included via a meal voucher to be redeemed directly on board with our caterer
- A tasting of a selection of raclette cheeses from the Dents du Midi region
And for those with a hearty appetite, additional raclette meals can be purchased on board at CHF 5.– each. To round off this gourmet experience, platters of cold meats and a drinks service will also be available on board.
Your cruise Take your seat on board and savour the beauty of a truly unique panorama! You’ll first cruise past the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007, where the charming villages clinging to the hillsides offer a fascinating sight. Then, our cruise will take you close to Chillon Castle, giving you the chance to admire this imposing medieval fortress, nestled between the lake and the mountains, from the water.
